It caused significant damage in the Argonia area, especially to the high school and elementary schools.According to news reports, the roof was torn off the high school and elementary school and then flooding occurred. About 20 power poles were also said to be broken or damaged due to the storm. Also, there were sustained extensive tree damage. The storm occurred between 5:40 and 5:50 p.m.School officials are surveying the damage of the school to determine what needs to be fixed and whether to postpone the start of school for awhile.last_img
