830 jobs to go at Eircom

first_imgOVER 800 PEOPLE will leave telecoms company Eircom, as the company aims to restructure their operations.The redundancies are part of the overall moves at the company aimed at shedding 2,000 jobs by next year.The workers will leave the company on an incentivised exit scheme after they applied for an early retirement scheme.An Eircom spokesperson said that those who had qualified for the redundancy had had their options explained to them. Staff who qualified have received one to one consultations to explain the options available to them.
